Thomasville Georgia Cultural Center
The Thomasville Cultural Center is housed in the historic East Side Elementary School building, built in 1915. In the 1980’s, this beautiful building was saved from demolition thanks to the efforts of residents who worked to preserve and then restore the building’s unique architecture. The Center has since become a premier fine arts center and continues to expand its outreach and programs. Today, the fully ADA compliant facility includes exhibition galleries, performing arts and rehearsal spaces, a 500-seat auditorium, classrooms, and meeting rooms.
